I am now fairly happy with how to fix my faults on the tower. I am sure that rather than not giving enough lead, I was giving too much. I had based my previous "picture" on my success from a windy day when I had a good kill rate. The clays that day were moving at speed with a tail wind so when I gave the the same lead with out the tail wind I was in front by miles....... I am looking forward to seeing if this hypothesis is correct as I believe or whether I am barking up another blind alley..... to nicely mix a metaphor!
I am going to practice on Saturday and if that goes according to plan then I plan to enter my first competition 100 bird shoot on Sunday at Sporting Targets...... watch this space!
